60’ by 20’ Wall of DPI Projection Delivers Incomparable Experience to Congregation
What do a massive 60’ by 20’ wide screen, the original Orlando Magic Jumbotron, a fully-wired wedding chapel and an elaborate education facility have in common? Each one can be found on the Faith Assembly of God’s 100-acre campus in Orlando, Florida. With numerous on-site amenities, including a full-time school, this is no ordinary house of worship. Equally distinct is the facility’s commitment to impactful communication, with advanced projection capabilities found in each department.
Faith Assembly of God’s Orlando Campus is largely comprised of a newly-constructed, 300,000 square foot facility. Located 10 miles from their previous address, the church built their new home on 100 acres of land purchased many years prior.
Faith Assembly of God Installs FOR-A’s HVS-350HS Video Switcher
When Faith Assembly Church moved from its main campus in Orlando, FL, to a nearby significantly larger 300,000sq-ft space, the organization had big plans of making its megachurch technically savvy on a tight budget. After two and a half years of construction, the first phase of the process is finished, and the church recently opened its doors for services.
Included in the list of new equipment installed and key to the church’s video production is a FOR-A HVS-350HS HD/SD 1.5 M/E video switcher, which is set in the video control room of the complex. The Encore Broadcast Solutions team, led by Jeff Cameron of the company’s Winter Springs, FL, office, provided systems integration services on this large-scale project. Encore was tasked with design, sales and installation of all audio, video and lighting systems in the entire complex.
Encore Broadcast Relies on Hitachi HDTV Cameras for House of Worship Installs
Systems integrator Encore Broadcast Solutions in Winter Springs, Florida, consistently relies on Hitachi HDTV studio field production cameras for house of worship installations throughout the state. The company recently installed Z-HD5000 cameras from Hitachi Kokusai Electric America at three churches: First Presbyterian of Orlando, First Presbyterian of Bonita Springs, and Faith Assembly of God in Orlando.
“The Z-HD5000 offers great functionality and is extremely easy to use,” said Jeff Cameron, sales engineer for Encore Broadcast Solutions. “With a lot of our projects, we’re looking for high-quality cameras with a reasonable price point that operate with fiber cable and can be portable. The Z-HD5000 fits these needs perfectly, which is why I’ve consistently used the camera in recent projects.”

Community Outreach Meets Intergenerational Ministry
The most successful church building projects start with a strong master plan driven by a powerful vision. One would be hard-pressed to find a pastor with a more powerful vision and a stronger heart for outreach and service than Church of Hope’s Pastor Peter Young.
Included in Phase 1 was a series of classrooms, gathering spaces, and administrative offices, as well as a 1,200-seat initial sanctuary. The sanctuary includes extensive audio, video and lighting systems, designed and installed by Encore Broadcast Solutions headquartered in Tampa, Fla.
