The 670,000 square foot Tampa Bay Times Forum is the official home of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Encore Broadcast Solutions has been a dedicated partner with the Tampa Bay Lightning by providing AV equipment, rentals, support and installation for over 15 years. When the center hung display system for their in house entertainment was replaced, our original installation of an Echolab switcher for their SD-SDI system needed to be enhanced. Encore was contracted to provide the character generator and routing system to upgrade to HD-SDI and also to serve as engineering counsel. The impeccable design and seamless integration during the original SD-SDI install made it possible for the Tampa Bay Lightning team to install the HD upgrade themselves while our engineer was on site to handle coordination.

Sarasota City Commission Upgrades to HD Production
Access Sarasota is a government-access channel that’s shared between Sarasota County and the city of Sarasota. It’s available locally via cable and we also provide live and on-demand coverage of city commission meetings on the city’s website.
We upgraded our system with an SVideo infrastructure in 2000 and a couple of years ago found ourselves with the difficult challenge of repairing and replacing analog equipment that was now obsolete. This led to our decision to do a rebuild that incorporated HD production and allowed us to incorporate a digital workflow.
Lectrosonics Keeps Audio in Check at Lee County EOC
The Lee County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is the official county warning point for natural or man-made hazards such as hurricanes, water shortages, and wildfires that may threaten the area. The EOC receives emergency information through the Emergency Dispatch Center (E-911) and reports serious emergencies to the State Watch Office located at the State EOC in Tallahassee, who then coordinates State and/or Federal involvement or assistance within the County. Lee County’s EOC is a state-of-the-art facility that makes extensive use of audiovisual equipment—and to ensure trouble free audio, the facility utilizes Aspen audio processing technology from Rio Rancho, NM-based Lectrosonics.
